This concert represents a unique collaboration between multi-talented musicians bringing their mastery into rich new combinations. All of them will join together in presenting a variety of solo and group pieces of astonishing breadth and energy, all sharing the timeless joy of music, no matter what century it comes from.

For example, the opening piece of the concert is “Yesterday”, by Lennon/McCartney of the Beatles, arranged by Phil Neuman for recorder consort, but played by recorder, vielle, and harps. This sets the stage for a visit to many centuries and countries, as Gayle and Phil present a short segment of early music, followed by Kim performing some of her solo works.

In the second half, all of the musicians will play together in a variety of combinations, with the energy building!
